Makes we wonder what smarts it has There are tools around that use the existing fields to renecode the movies very fast. That is used for lowering the bitrate.
Some other SW is able to cut mpeg movie frame exact. That isa possible because they only encode a few GOPs. gopchop was/is able to cut them gop exact. I don't know that technic they acuatal use. It would be interesting to let the movies checked to see if they are really DVD compliant. If found once that tool from philips: DVD+RW Video Format Compliance Verifier http://www.ip.philips.com/licensing/services/lover/documents1047.html The thing is the price of 500$ that prevented me from giving it a closer look. auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
