Hallo
Indeed, I guess you will find rather interesting the picture I'm sending. If you zoom a bit any of them you will see what I mean, and maybe you will find the right words to tell what it is.I have cut out a small sample of one image where I think you can see that problem. Maybe someone else has an idea to that problem.
Also, you will notice, in the picture of the woods, that the trunks of the trees are not affected by the problem. The rocks are less affected than other objects.
It seems that it is hard to get a single color on larger areas.Do you also see that problem when you watch the Video ? Or do you only see it on the recorded video.
Which card and command do you use for recording ?
The color seems to have something to deal with the problem. You will notice that yellow hair of the girl, and her red jacket, show the pattern in a most evident way. Grey and white objects don't seem to be affected at all.
It seems to me the the Luma is ok, but chroma has a problem.Normaly you can help if you use a SVHS Signal because there the card does not need to do the Luma Chroma separation.
One more thing: the picture are from a satellite receiver (analog output), but exactly the same happens with every other analog source; also, it's not a matter of composite video, S-video or such: it happens whatever connection from source to card is made.Typically a digital satellite receiver with analog SVHS output has a very good quality. And that kind of problem should not happen. What kind of cables do you use, how long are they ?
