I have just compiled the 2.6.18 kernel. Recording works with the DC30 card. But for some strange reason not with the BUZ :-( I get a lot messages like that: Oct 10 19:27:04 shadowlord kernel: i2c_adapter i2c-0: master_xfer[1] R, addr=0x47, len=1 And after Some time I get that message: **ERROR: [lavrec] Error syncing on a buffer: Timer expired That is different to your problem.
