Hmmm, C++ is weird and not something I'm familiar with. > After just a couple of type fixes it compiles down to y4mdenoise. Then g++ > complains Just a couple? That's great! > about templates. This would also appear to come from type conversion as > Log2Bits is And as I recall when y4mdenoise was being developed that same routine/template has some issues depending on the OS and version of g++ being used. > g++ -DNDEBUG -finline-functions -fno-PIC -march=pentium4 -mcpu=pentium4 -g > -O2 -o > y4mdenoise.exe main.o newdenoise.o ../utils/.libs/libmjpegutils.a > newdenoise.o(.text$_ZNK14BitmapRegion2DIslE15IteratorForwardERNS0_13ConstIter > atorE[BitmapRegion2D<short, long>::IteratorForward(BitmapRegion2D<short, > long>::ConstIterator&) const]+0x2c): In function > `_ZN16DoublyLinkedListIN12SearchWindowIhLi2ElslLs2ELs2Et5PixelIhLi2ElE14Refere > ncePixelIthLi2ES2_E14ReferenceFrameIS4_slEE16SearchWindowCellEEC2Ev': > /home/pjk/mjpegplay/y4mdenoise/DoublyLinkedList.hh: undefined reference to > `Limits<unsigned>::Log2Bits' I think that means there isn't a function to handle "Limits::Log2Bits" with an unsigned argument. I see "Limits<uint8_t>::Log2Bits" and others for int8_t and so on. Cygwin's g++ isn't treating 'unsigned' as 'uint32_t' it seems. Out of my area of expertise - maybe someone (is y4mdenoise's author still lurking about? ;)) else can help with this problem.
