Hi, I think I managed to sort out most of the problem I have been having. Many thanks, guys. :-)
Two problems are still causing me problems, though. :-( Options I use are the following: lavrec --format a --input p --decimation 2 --synchronization 2 --quality 75 --stereo --use-read test.avi 1) After approimately 5 minutes, the stream gets corrupted. The symptoms are similar to what I was seeing before upgrading to the new (CVS) drivers when using "--decimation 1" option. The output seems broken up into misaligned strips, as if there is some kind of a sync mismatch. 2) After about 14 minutes of recording, lavrec exits with a message like "number of given output files reached". What does this mean and how can it be worked around? Do I have to do something like upgrade mjpegtools for the new drivers or something like that? Also, are there any particular recommended bigphysarea kernel patch options I should be using? Many thanks.
