Hi,
I have a DC30+. Loading the module with
modprobe zr36067 debug=2 card=0
shows the following in the syslog:
kernel: Linux video capture interface: v1.00
kernel: Zoran MJPEG board driver version 0.9.5
kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:08.0[A] -> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10
kernel: MJPEG[0]: Zoran ZR36057 (rev 1) irq: 10, memory: 0xeb100000.
kernel: DC10(old)[0]: Initializing i2c bus...
kernel: DC10(old)[0]: i2c_client_register() - driver id = 42
kernel: DC10(old)[0]: Initializing videocodec bus...
kernel: ZORAN: 1 card(s) found
kernel: DC10(old)[0]: zr36057_init() - initializing card[0], zr=df328240
kernel: DC10(old)[0]: enable_jpg(IDLE)
kernel: DC10(old)[0]: interrupts received: GIRQ1:50 GIRQ0:50
queue_state=0/0/0/0
kernel: DC10(old)[0]: procfs entry /proc/zoran0 allocated. data=df328240
Apparently the card is identified as a DC10. I guess this is not what it
should be, is it?
Running lavrec with -i a gives:
INFO: [lavrec] Recording parameters:
INFO: [lavrec] Output format: AVI
INFO: [lavrec] Input Source: Auto detect
INFO: [lavrec] Decimation: 2
INFO: [lavrec] Quality: 50

++ WARN: [lavrec] Not ready for capture (state = 0)!
So lavrec can't find any suitable input. My guess is this is more or less
caused by the faulty identification. But's that's just a wild guess of me.
Box: SuSE 9.2 / kernel-default-2.6.8-24.10 / mjpegtools-1.6.2-54.1
Thanks for any clues.
Cheers,
Koos
