I have a suspicion that you haven't done enough reading, but the start of this thread is long gone from my buffers. Could you tell us all again o what your source material is? o what kind of MPEG you are trying to create? (MPEG-1 is progressive-only. If your source is interlaced, this could be the problem, but there are solutions.
