This is a message:
Executing: lavrec -i p -w -f q -d 1 -q 33 -a 16 -r 44100 -l -1 -R l -c 2
-t 100000 -T 1 -n 32 -b 256 -s --use-read --max-file-size 40000
/root/Desktop/frances.mov

lavrec finished

This is a list of my installed packages:
libavc1394-0.4.1-1.1.i386.rpm libquicktime-0.9.2-2.1.fc1.fr.i586.rpm
libdv-0.102-1.i386.rpm mjpegtools-1.6.1-fr5.i386.rpm
libmovtar-0.1.3-fr2.i386.rpm

What should I do?

I am silly, but no such silly, and I did it right.
I mean, sure, of cource, obviously, I changed x with a number.
After sending mail, I made many attempts too, and had success, so I can
capture avi's with the filename that contains '%09d.avi', and I fill in
maximum file size edit box '1900' Mb. so when avi
reached that limit, LVS tells that error occured, and it can't write
anymore:
Lavrec failed with the following error:
[lavrec] Error syncing on a buffer: Timer expired

Thanks
