When you want to record from a bttv card close all TV applications, and
try to record than. The bttv card does not support recording and viewing
at the same time.
In your command you missed at least the --software-encoding, for
recording from anything not zoran based. Please take a look at the
lavrec manpage, oder the mjpeg howto. There is a BTTV example.
PS: The input selections -i option is different between the zoran and
and bttv cards you might have to change that to!

glav can only playback mjpeg encoded AVI and quicktime files.
If you have anything else than a zoran based card the HW and card mode
does not work.

Are these mjpeg encoded AVI's ?
tray adding a -p S to the command line:
glav -p S Disney1.avi
If that does not work, please add "-v 2" to the commandline and post the
while output.
