Hallo > I can't find any zoran driver for the 2.6 kernels. Does it exist, is it > in preparation, or is it not going to happen? Does anyone know? The Zoran driver is alreaddy included in the 2.6.* kernel. If you want to compile the kernel yourselfe, it could be that you have misconfugred it, so it does not show the v4l options.
And take a look in the kernel source tree to the Documentation/video4linux/Zoran file. On the other hand you can download a more accurate driver for the kernel from the CVS, but you have to compile that driver: cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/mjpeg \ co -r ZORAN_VIDEODEV_2 driver-zoran/ If you use a kernel that comes with you distribution you might have to install a package called "kernel headers" or like that. Else you can't compile anything that uses parts of the kernel. auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
