The owner of the card says it never worked with xawtv for him, either, but was faultless with LVS. I'm pleased with the quality of video that I can see by playing back the avi file through xine, but I still haven't solved the problem of sound. I'm using kde, and I checked out kmix, unmuting anything left, one by one, but nothing made any difference except one, labelled 'capture'. I guess this might be the one I need, but enabling it gives a huge feedback scream, and I can't see any way of getting rid of that except by muting. Does this ring any bells with anyone?
