2.14 fps with 
yuvdenoise -b x,y,L,H -f | mpeg2enc -q 6 -K kvcd -4 2 -2 1 -M 2

Machine is a dual 933 Mhz Intel.

I keep the default options..... so -I 1 I guess. Anyway, I turned it on and 
it seems to be a little better, hardly... 10 %

Already here.... Ok this machine is not a top one but I recall it being 
faster with a rpm version.......
