you can also try using gop_fixup by Mark Rages that resets the timestamps in a
mpeg2 file.  I use it after GOPchopping a bigger mpeg2 file into a smaller one
(cutting out commercials, etc.) to re-timestamp the end product.  I don't know
if it will work for your concatentation attempt.
