        Green is what you see when the Y/U/V data is 0.   It would appear
        that something is encoding a bunch of 0s

        It's not causing the green (at least I don't think it is) but "-m" is
        not a valid mplex option (as can be seen from the error message).
        That would be why the mplex run failed.

        No idea why you're seeing green though.
