Actually, filesize / muxrate. There is no such thing as 'length' in the mpeg header (it's streamable), so you just guess. If you open a VBR MPEG in WMP for the first time, you'll see this too. The second time, the length will be cached and shown correctly (in WMP, not sure for Xine).
