Some players (xine for example) in Linux have problems showing the correct length of the stream when you use a VBR stream. The time they show is something like: filesize / max bitrate. I don't know if this is mpeg2enc option depended, or maybe a problem with the xine version. VLC (http://www.videolan.org/) usually shows the right time and is aviable for windwos too. Please check if that player also shows the wrong time. If not that it's very likely that the MS Media player (or the dll that provides the mpeg2 plaback) is inacurate. By default the MS Media player cannot playback MPEG2 !! auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Perforce Software.
