When I record using lavrec from my tv card (ATI TV-Wonder PCI) it is fine the first time that I record. However, if I try to record a second time, I cannot get any audio. After recording, I have to start xawtv and reset the volume on it, as it is then set to zero (not muted, just turned down to zero). After I do that, I can record with audio again.
This is the command line that I am using: lavrec --use-read -i n -q 50 -s -l 90 -R c -f q -g 320x240 -t 10 -v 1 --file-flush=0 --software-encoding "test.qt" The output to the terminal does not indicate any errors and the output to test.qt is fine for both audio, video and sync. It is only in subsequent attempts that this becomes a problem. Is there some way that I can get lavrec to return the volume to normal after it ceases recording?
