That was the problem, although I've had media in this SAME BATCH that
works flawlessly.  Thanks, you saved me a ton of time and a lot of
headache.  I was using Staple's CDs, and I think that they had problems
toward the edges, because the videos toward the beginning worked fine, and
working with shorter videos on the same batch of CDs worked fine.  Now
that I have longer videos they aren't working.

Anyway, I had another batch from another company, and they worked fine.
