There was a bug in the quality factor control. mpeg2enc accapted 32 different values but it hat only 16 different levels. Andrew corrected that, and now every differnet level should produce a differnet filesize. Before 2 levels always produced the same filesize.
If you are interrested why it produces a differnet filesize take a look at the cvs log. It could be that -q 8 produces now a higher quality level. auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Mjpeg-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mjpeg-users
