I'm not familiar with the Sourceforge mailing list software, but does it
just reject any non-subscriber postings when in restricted mode? All
mailing list software I'm familiar with (mainly majordomo and mailman)
holds non-subscriber posts for admin (list owner, or others delegated by
the list owner) approval. That way anyone can still post, but if it's
from a non-subscribed address there may be a delay before an admin gets
to deal with it.

Brian.
