The dealer, which offered me the exchange of the A7N8X, has only boards with
KT400a and KT600 chipsets, if I don't want a nforce-chipset.

I also read a lot of bad news of VIA-chipsets, but do I have an alternative,
if I don't want to buy a nforce2-board and can't get a AMD chipset? I want
something stable and reliable and there is no need to buy something _very_
cheap. Something about $/¤ 100-150 would be ok.

When I search the webpage of my dealer it looks like that I have to choose
beetween the following boards:

ASUS A7V600 Via KT600 (99¤)
EPOX EP-8K9A9+ VIA KT400A (100¤)
EPOX 8KRA2+ VIA KT600 (104¤)
MSI MS-6590a KT4A Ultra VIA KT400A (83¤)

Does anyone have experiences with multimedia and the above mentioned boards?
There are no "A"-versions for the KT600, so do you think, that it is safer to
buy a KT400A?

I have a XP2400+ already. Can I use it?

These boards are not available at my dealer.
