It was a bug in using too high an optimization level (-O3). As
Bernhard mention (and I discovered a while back) using -O2 (or simply
        -O) fixes the problem.

        The other problem of:

movtar_play.c:144: warning: integer constant is too large for "long" type

is a 'nasm' bug - a newer version of 'nasm' will make that problem
go away. I use nasm 0.98.35 and it works fine.

        Cheers,
        Steven Schultz
