Ok, thanks. I was beginning to suspect I would have to build my own driver anyhow. It likely won't solve all my issues (I seem unable to grab small images either), but it's a big step forward!
BTW, and just for my curiosity, do you know the reason bigphysarea haven't ever been incorporated into the kernel?
