I updated a lot last weekend: 1) I removed my Hauppauge tv card, because I wasn't using it anymore and moved the DC10+ card to another PCI slot far away from any interference sources. When I first saw the bands after that, I thought the card had caught some static charge from me moving it. After testing with lavrec without xawtv running the problem wasn't there so it couldn't be a hardware problem. 2) I upgraded to XFree86 4.3, because some KDE 3.1 packages required it. (Damn Mandrake Cooker dependancy hell ;-) 3) I upgraded to version 0.9.3 of the zoran driver, but I can't remember if I upgraded before or after I spotted the problems. It must be after, because I just checked out and compiled 0.9.2 and it shows the same problem. > I don't see it here. > > Ronald I will try moving back to XFree86 4.2 and see if the problem persists.
