Hi, I have a VCR connected to the composite-in of my DC10+ card and that works pretty well. However since last week I see vertical bands in Xawtv. The bands appear to be a little darker than the surrounding pixels and they also show up when the VCR is off. Even stranger is that when I record with lavrec the bands are visible when Xawtv is running, but not visible when it is not running. I thought that both Xawtv and the MJPEG recording use the same video decoder facilities on the DC10+ card. Why the difference in recording when Xawtv is running or not? Is there a difference in driver initialisation when Xawtv opens the zoran driver or when lavrec opens it?
