Even easier with mplayer -vop crop=a:b:c:d, or even have mplayer tell you what the crop area is with mplayer -vop cropdetect=<threshold>. The only problem with the latter is that my captures from NTSC seem to have a line or two of noise at the top and that fouls up the crop detection. :-( b. -- Brian J. Murrell
