I'm seeing you guys talking about "zoran". Is this the Optibase Videoplex Xpress ? I have one... but I'm only using it for playback mpeg1/2 with the "vout" program provided with the official drivers (http://www.optibase.com/linux).I For Zoran (rec) + Zoran for (play)The zoran driver is fully v4l compliant. Capturing using video4linux' memory tweaking since the zr360x7 can't handle non-contiguous (paged) play fine with the zoran driver/cards.
What else can I do with it ? Can I combine and use a 3rd party player like "mplayer" (or an other one...) to read MPEG1/2 or other format that are non-mpeg1/2 (Mpeg4, avi, etc...) using the TV-output of the zoran card ? I'm not sure this is the right list but I'll give a try...
