Hi, I'm looking for pointers to where I can get information on how best to pursue skipping the recording of commercials when recording TV programs for later playback.
I realize I could use mjpegtools glav to edit them out manually from the .avi file, for instance, but I'd like ideas on how I might go about doing that in the recording step. Presently, I'm using xawtv's streamer program to record, but am open to other alternatives. Any pointers or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -- Allen J.
