We're straying a bit OT here but hey :-) I cannot get close to realtime capture with streamer (3.72). Even reducing resolution to half size and using a raw video format I get at most one frame in three. Recording for 10 seconds takes >30 seconds. I have similar problems capturing with mencoder too so I guess it is a Marvel or Marvel driver thing. Anyway, lavrec works so I'm not too bothered.
