You've probably met with the problem described here: http://www.puremotion.com/videoediting/reference/technical/2gbfilelimit/ I'm afraid I can't suggest what software might handle your 4.5GB avi but in future you could try adding numbers to your file name (eg. movie000.avi) and maybe streamer will start a new file every 2GB. Or you could try .mov instead.
