Hi list, I'm a bit (only a bit) desperate in getting a VLAN setup running on a PC Engines Alix Board (dmesg below).
Simply put, I need vlan 123 on both vr0 and vr2 (the Alix I use has three NICs, vr0 to vr2). Unfortunately, I only seem to get vlan 123 set up on either vr0 or vr2. I tried different approaches, however I failed. I'm pretty sure that it's a trivial thing, but I don't see it. #cat /etc/hostname.vlan123 inet 222.111.222.111 255.255.255.0 NONE vlan 123 vlandev vr2 inet 10.11.0.3 255.255.255.0 NONE vlan 123 vlandev vr0 When booting, I get: ifconfig: SIOCSETVLAN: Device busy ifconfig: SIOCAIFADDR: Can't assign requested address Setting inet alias 10.11.0.3 255.255.255.0 NONE vlan 123 vlandev vr0 also doesn't help. How can I get vlan 123 on both vr0 and vr2?
