I made the diff orginally, may still apply. There is also some code in growisofs that checks if you are burning 4.2 gig or less on a dual-layer DVD and it will fail because it thinks you are wasting a dual layer DVD (which you are, actually.. they're expensive.) cdrtools currently as it is in the tree does not create .iso images larger than 4.2 gig. I had to hack it to the latest cdrtools alpha version to make it work properly for dual-layer DVDs. Hope this helps! T
