Ah, I see... I did not actually look at envy.c after applying the patch. I have reinstalled the kernel, and now audio is back to normal. Thanks again, without your help OpenBSD 4.6 sessions would have been very quiet. By the way, are there any plans to add support for S/PDIF and MIDI in this driver? Regards, Dirk
