Because asking questions on this list takes time for others as well
as yourself. On the other hand, the time you spend reading documentation
does not take time away from others. But you still get answers to your
questions, and you learn things you need to know to use OpenBSD effectively.

Also, people may find it boring answering the same questions all over
again whenever someone decides to try out OpenBSD.
It's a waste of their time.

That's why the documentation exists. To save people time.

That means that people in the Linux community may have a different mindset
than people in this comunity. They are not the same communities.
