You mean copy/paste (like Patrick said), select with your left mouse
button, paste with the middle. Selecting is enough to copy (no
keypresses needed). If you don't have a middle mouse button, this can
often be emulated by using both left and right at the same time.
Experiment a bit, it works fine. It's just different than on some
other platforms.
