Exactly! It's OK to have a DVD "crammed to the brim" with 4.7GB of data, as long as the individual files on the DVD are each under the filesize limit dictated by the operating system. One big 4.7GB file will probably exceed the limit, but a lot of little files whose TOTAL SIZE is 4.7GB is OK.
