Im afraid that you're going to have to re-write the driver from scratch (without being "inspired" by the GPLed one) the OpenBSD kernel developers wont include GPLed code into the core of the OS.
Are you 100% sure that the driver doesn't already exist in -current? What piece of hardware is this?
