What does any of this have to do with the license?! It's *all* about copyright infringement. Even if the original was licensed under BSD, you would still have the same problem: you can't just take the code, strip the copyright attribution and then distribute it as your own! "Redistributions of source code must retain the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer." Sounds familiar? So please, how is this a GPL issue again? - jd
