Somebody else already pointed out that you need to read the FAQ, particularly http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq5.html "Building the System from Source" to understand everything. Your question should be answered there.
Instead, isn't it possible to download the kernel somewhere from openbsd.org site, check the md5 and replace in bsd/ or wherever the kernel image is stored?
