Hi,
I'm currently using OpenBSD 3.9 as a PDC on my network at home.

It's quite easy to set up it with the simple "password file" backend, having
users' roaming profiles and automounting of the homedirs, even for Linux(!)
desktop users.
You can use the Windows NT4 SRVTOOLS to manage users and resources (but only
in a NT4-PDC fashion).
The really interesting and hard-to-realize thing is using OpenLDAP as
password backend. This is a more flexible solution to manage users for
single-sign-on to all the services in your network that require
authentication.
The difficulities arise from the hardness to have OpenBSD users logon using
LDAP without /etc/passwd and the perl script to handle the LDAP directory
written with Linux in mind.

This my experience...

Regards,
  Alessio
