Yes, its too late, and it doesn't do anything anyways. Its not like they can't upload binaries, or even untar compXX.tgz themselves. This nonsense is because in linux land, doing stupid shit is normal, even considered good. There's actually published books about hardening linux that give stupid advice like "uninstall the compiler". So you will see people who's minds have been warped by living in linux land continue to try to do stupid shit on other OSs. Adam
