If you're using it for co-location, remember that the 150-4 isn't
exactly low profile. I'd be surprised if you can fit it into a 19"
rack mounted chassis. Even with a riser card, the card may just be too
tall to fit. Looking at the manufacturer page [1], you can see the
upper bit of the board (i.e. the bit with the jumpers). That's the
part that may be too tall.

Some 3ware cards may be cheaper but I doubt you'd do better with them.
Personally, I'm quite happy with the 150-4 card. It suits my needs
fine and bioctl(8) is of course a splendid bonus. I'm not using it in
a co-located environment, so I can't tell you whether it would fit
into a 19" chassis.
