Hello,

I started playing with tor-browser -- I may be doing something wrong
since it is my first time using this browser. The file chooser
(either Ctrl+O or +S) opens a huge window without rendered text. The
xterm from where tb is launched, shows warning messages similar to the
subject-line.

A bit of searching got me to:
$ gsettings get org.gtk.Settings.FileChooser window-size
(1124, 32767)

Attempts at setting this to saner values (or plain 'reset') doesn't
help, as the next attempt at Ctrol+O resets the value to that shown
above.

Further search got me to this fairly recent post on misc@:

https://www.mail-archive.com/misc@openbsd.org/msg192742.html

Indicating there was an issue with pango update, and that
pango-1.56.0p0 fixes the issue in current (or at least with source
compile).

I am seeing this issue on 7.6. (with syspatch & pkg_add -u as of
today) with fvwm in base as the wm.

Is this user error or a related issue with pango (which is at
pango-1.54.0 according to pkg_info)?
