Will the stance regarding Rust be revisited now that we have a Rust implementation for coreutils(https://uutils.github.io/), with findutils and diffutils on the way? They and the Rust compiler have a MIT license: - https://github.com/uutils/coreutils/blob/main/LICENSE - https://github.com/uutils/findutils/blob/main/LICENSE - https://github.com/uutils/diffutils/blob/main/LICENSE-MIT Replacing the GNU compiler with the Rust compiler will also remove one of the few pesky GPL v2 licenses left in the project.
