It took a while, but yesterday I installed a snapshot on some spare hardware (apu4 board, much slower than my main N100-based router). With both running 7.6, the apu board shows more packet loss than the N100-based router. I tried that last week. But with -current + the diff you mentioned above, the apu4 seems to have no packet loss at all. I cranked the load up a bit, to the level that the N100 system normally would show quite some packet loss, but up to now I see no packet loss at all. Or perhaps I should say: the NTP pool monitoring system shows no packet loss. There may be some packet loss that I don't see. I haven't seen any other side effects or regressions. This has been running for half a day now, so maybe a bit early to know for sure, but this looks very encouraging. Best regards, Maurice
