That is not expected. The driver is working fine in general and connections should be stable. That said, I had a similar problem with a umb(4) device that worked perfectly fine in a laptop, but had 20%-30% packet loss when I tried to use it in an APU, and not just one APU but three of them (I tried it an APU1, an APU2, and a different APU2; same issue in all of them). Try the card and the driver in a different device if you can, just to check?
