I can confirm that pandoc works on OpenBSD as I have built it a few months ago. However, it wasn't a painless procedure. I installed it via cabal, but you need a little workaround, since a W^X allowed partition is required for the build There are some articles online which I followed and created a cabal directory in /usr/local (which is wxallowed) and mounted it in my $HOME as ‘.cabal’ (as opposed to mounting /home as wxallowed).
