I stick to (reasonably established) standards, and it's the job of browsers to implement them. If a browser failes to implement a standard that has been in force for a long time, that's a bug in the browser and not my problem. But you fail to state what the actual problem is that you are trying to solve. You also fail to state whether you have any idea what the root cause of the unstated problem might be. For example, is it somehow related to the CSS rule html { max-width: 100ex; } ? I'm not saying it is, i'm merely asking because i have no idea what your problem is. Yours, Ingo
