Non-working support for it was added to the ath(4) driver about 10 years ago and was never fixed. http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-misc&m=115869131029674&w=2 Unless you're into driver development and fix this problem yourself there's not much that can be done about it at this time. The main problem has always been that no developer owns this device. So the best I can suggest is that you open up your laptop, replace the AR5424 card with a different one that works and ship the AR5424 card to me. Eventually I might find time and motivation and look into fixing the driver. Or someone else might and I'll pass the card on to that person.
