Fred & I found the same problem on our Lenovo S10-3: http://openbsd-archive.7691.n7.nabble.com/athn0-radio-is-disabled-by-hardware-switch-td98326.html We both found removing the battery makes it work - just once. Fred has FreeBSD working on his Lenovo, I use wired OpenBSD on mine.
